360 controller broken!!

Was playin fifa 09 last night when, suddenly, i noticed i couldnt switch players. My left bumper wasnt working at all!! Not apparently obvious when looking at the controller but there was no click like on the right bumper. Kind of odd considering i have'nt used it that much in the last year. Luckily i have a 2nd controller to fill in.

The question anyway, is the wireless controller under warranty?? I got my 360 on the 7th December last so i still have a couple of weeks left under warranty. If bring this into GAME where i bought it, will they give me a new one??

The same thing happened to me and yes they will. Although I went to Gamestop and I kind of broke the controller myself but anyway..

Can't see why a controller would not be covered under your warranty - it is part of the system hardware anyway... if they gave you any trouble about it, I'd be pretty surprised.

I got through controllers all the time. I get about six month before the analog stick on the left starts to lock up, and the a button sticks. Plus all the rubber on the left stick starts to come away. All due to Fifa. I think I'm onto pad 6 or 7 now. Although 3 or 4 of them are still in good condition.

I have two controllers with the left bumper broke. I tried to fix one myself but no joy. DOes anywhere fix them as it would be worth sending them off.

Finally got around to GAME today. They exchanged it for me no bother.:)
