    Hi,

I've found the 42LG7000 on pixmania.ie for 900e + 63e delivery. It seems to be a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Can anyone confirm that there isn't a few versions of this model? I don't want to buy it and then realise I'm missing some feature! I can't see any difference in the specs myself.

    Linky

    Thanks, ambrose

I dont think so, Theres only one listed on LG's official UK site anyway. After all, its uneconomic for a manufacturer to make too many different sets.

About the tv, anyway, its a lot of bang for your buck, especially when you consider it has 100hz. This may not be as good as the system available on sony and samsung sets, though.

    Thank for reply.

To add to my confusion... If you look on the .co.uk site they have two 42LG7000 listed. (just the tv, no special packs)

    linky 1 @ 1000GBP

    linky 2 @ 800GBP

I can't seem to see any difference between all three. Why the huge difference in price? 900e, 950e/800gbp, 1200e/1000gbp. It doesn't make sense that the Irish site is cheaper too!

I think the price and specs on the TV are great, hence why I was considering this TV. If anyone wants to suggest another make/model for around the 1000 I'd appreciate any recommendations.

I would'nt take too much notice of the prices on the uk site, really. There completely ridiculous prices. Tbh, the irish price, 960e delivered is about right. It is only an LG at the end of the day, albeit a very well specced one. The Sony 40w4000 is about 1060e delivered on pixmania, and i'd much rather spend that much money on a sony. It doesnt have 100hz but i think it would be much better than the LG in almost every other area
