classified fifa09 games?

    quick question about fifa09 online..

    I was playing a friend last night online & he asked if we could play a "classified game"....
    Whats the difference between just inviting a player to a game & a "classified" game..
    Sorry but in just getting used to fifa09 at the moment.....:confused:, im an oul ps2 head...

    theres no such thing though he may have meant a ranked game where your result is recorded onto your profile.

    i play a ranked game pretty much all the time, i wouldnt place much importance in winning or losing. unfortunately, many do, you can get a lot of people disconnecting just because they're losing by 2 goals they could easily get back.

    If a player challenges me for a game (via message on ps3), where do i go to enter a RANKED GAME? will a simple invite not be a ranked game?

    Yeah, thats annoying when a player dissconnects when they are losing,whats the point!

    I was playing last night and the speed of the game kept freeze'n! this has never happened!! very annoying

    The easiest way to play ranked games against friends is to go to your Player Hub, choose address book(by pressing L1), it will show you a list of your friends and also tell you which of them are playing FIFA09 at the moment. When you invite them to a game you will see an option at the top of the screen to select a ranked or unranked/customisable session.
    FWIW I think theres a space left in one of the leagues, boardsliga IIRC.

    I think i done that but dont know if i selected ranked/unranked?? The player i was playing wanted me to play a ranked game after the first game we played?
    I was winning 4-1 and he didnt seem interested after that haha:cool:

    Elhanco, instead of adding people as your friend all the time to play a match. Just go to ONLINE LOBBIES, then go to MY COUNTRY, and just invite him from there.
    MY COUNTRY is were all the Irish players are looking for a game.
