Hello. My 5 year old Dell laptop needs replacing and I think now is the time to do it. Ive put together a bunch of parts which i think will add up to a decent machine. This is what I have come up with:

    Samsung 22" LCD Syncmaster T220HD, 1680x1050, 5ms, 10000:1 299e
Antec Nine Hundred black miditower, Side panel window (Without PSU) 96e
    Corsair Powersupply 650W Black, ATX/EPS, 120mm Fan, 8xSATA, SLI 91e
    Intel Core™ 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz, Socket LGA775, 6MB, 1333Mhz 159e
    Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3, PCI-Express 2.0, 153e
    Asus P5Q, P45, Socket-775, DDR2, ATX, GbLAN, Firewire, PCI-Ex(2.0) 119e
    Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA2 32MB 7200RPM 79e
Sony NEC Optiarc DVD±RW burner AD-7200A, 20x, IDE, Black, bulk 21e
    Crucial DDR2 PC8500 4096MB CL7, Kit w/two matched DDR2 PC8500 2GB CL7
    70e

    Total:1088 euro (from Komplett)

I will probably buy all from Komplett and use their PC build service when (if?) it comes back online. I could then collect myself to save on delivery.

Im not a heavy gamer but wouldnt mind playing some latest games as my brother usually gets them. I will be doing video encoding, editing, surfing, dvds etc. I will also hook up a PS3 so the two HDMI connections come in handy. Firewire is also great to have for HD Camcorder. I will be running 32 bit version of XP. I know it wont see all the memory but I might upgrade to Vista at some stage.

    Have a few questions:

Is there enough power? If in the future I add another 1TB harddrive, a soundcard, a blu ray drve etc, will it have enough?

Is the graphics card decent enough?

Mobo and memory? I havent researched this at all yet. Is the one I have selected a good choice.

    And Can I save some $$$ somewhere:D

    thanks.
