Littering is only a small buzz,it wears off quick, its illegal dumping that's the business. Cant get enough of the oul' illegal dumping in the mountains on a Saturday night.

Try putting an empty crisp bag in a hedge... come back two weeks later and it's GONE... that's called biodegrading... look it up morans.

I think it's an ignorant thing to do. It shows a general lack of respect on the part of the individual who thinks they can freely scatter rubbish around public places. It's an indirect insult to others. And it's bad for the ****ing environment.

It's a gateway offence. I know peeps that started off just throwing away an empty crisp packet.

Now you'd see 'em leaning over the bins in temple Bar, and if ya look really closely they're taking a piss in the bin.

Coming home on a cold Tuesday night at 2am from Cark, I was greeted by a lovely individual who started to piss on a taxi.

When the taxi driver in the car objected, he profusely apologised and proceeded to piss onto the middle of the path of Westmoreland St instead. In fairness, it was a terrific aim.

Why throw your litter on the ground, when you could just bury it all underground?

I once saw a documentary about a man who became sanitation comissioner in a humble American town, and that was how he dealt with garbage.

If I remember correctly, it all turned out well in the end. There was even a catchy musical number sung by very obliging garbagemen.

Not all littering is bad. I was in a park once and I was eating an apple. When I finished I threw what was left into a ditch and this old guy came up and started shouting abuse at me for 'littering'.

What an idiot. It took me about 20 minutes to get it into his stupid head that what I was doing was better for the environment...then I stole his dog.

What is the legal definintion of litter? What about anyone who dumps handfulls of bread into ponds and lakes for ducks or swans are they littering?
