    Hi Guys,
we're going to a wedding in spiddal (spell) in a couple of weeks and we were looking at staying over in galway city the night before the wedding. W're driving from dublin on friday evening and want to get somewhere thats cheap and cheerful that night as opossed to staying both the night before and the night of the wedding in the hotel.
    Any recomendations would be great
    Thanks

There's plenty of B&B's on college road in Galway which is also very central. Regarding prices I'm not so sure. Personally I prefer staying in hotels as B&B prices are almost the same price as what you'd pay in a hotel. Try the Ibis hotel in Galway but it is a bit far from the city centre.Spiddal is only about a half hour from Galway city so maybe looking around salthill would be a good idea?

Do you drink? If you do, perhaps a B&B within walking distance of the wedding venue might be a better idea.

yes i would be partial to a drink or two, but the night thats in it i will be aftr a long drive so a night on the town isnt really on the cards. We're just looking for somewhere nice and cheap to have a quite night bfor3e heading to spiddal the next day for the wedding.

There are plenty of B&B's in Salthill that might suit. or you could check out the Twelve Hotel in Barna which is probably best for your convienence I wouldn't know anything about prices etc just throwing out ideas!
