    Hi all,

just a quick question, my BF and i are thinking of going to Dubai next year to work for a year as we believe one can earn very good money there in his line of work as an engineer.

i was just wondering if anybody had ever done this before and what they thought, or knows anybody who has.

any tips would be very helpful, as im still quite unsure.

    Thanks

    DCMC

Dubai is a fantastic place - I've been twice and I'll be going back in 3 weeks, i have family there.

There is work out there and you can earn very good money tax free.

Try some of the sites for jobs etc, www.teleportmyjob.com is one good one.

Some people say just go out there and find a job, easier than trying to get one from here. It might be worth taking a holiday and set up some interviews while your there.

I hope you like the heat - right now its 30 degrees. 40-50 during the summer
