bookdepository.co.uk no dispatch e-mail

    Hi,
    I placed my first order with bookdepository.co.uk a few days ago and while checking my account today I noticed that the order status was complete / shipped. Is this normal with bookdepository.co.uk as I'm quite use to other sites sending a dispatch email. :confused:

    In the same boat myself. However, the confirmation e-mail read:
    "The above title will be dispatched soon by Royal Mail to*****. Usually this takes 5-8 days, so please contact us in 2 weeks if you haven't received your shipment." which more or less suggests they don't send dispatch confirmation.

    The eight days will expire on Tuesday so I'll know by then for definite.

    They just ship the stuff a few days after the order ,website gets the update thats all.

    Mmm still no sign of it. It's been 6 working days since it's been dispatched or more accurately "completed" since they don't send dispatch emails...

    How long does it normally take in the worst case scenario going by experience? I'm just a little concerned as I already received orders from other UK sites which were put in 2 days after my bookdepository order.

    How good is their customer service in regards to following up on missing orders?

    I placed an order with them last week... Thursday I think. It arrived this morning. I dont recall receiving any email that it was despatched.
