recording onto dvd

    hi there
    i have two queries,

    1. i am trying to burn downloaded items from youtube onto a dvd disc,i've tried doin it through realplayer and i have to upgrade it?!

    is there any free program i can use instead?


    2. also i'm tryin to copy a dvd for a friend, only its protected, so i downloaded isobuster, but that isnt working either!

    someone help...please?
