How do you guys think this one will pan out?

I think Caballero with edge it on points...

BTW: I'm asking for opinions - Just to clear that up.

This is a really interesting matchup.

If it was two years ago I'd definitely have gone with Caballero, but in the meantime he seems to have regressed (he's 32) and Molitor improved.

The fact that it's in Canada could give the edge to Molitor, but it will be interesting to see how he copes with someone so tall and also a fellow southpaw. Caballero hits hard, has a good chin and is very awkward. This is a real hard fight for both.

With the fight in Canada I'm edging towards Molitor on points, but wouldn't be at all surprised to see Caballero win.

This is a really good fight and I'm not sure which way it will go. On one hand Molitor is much more skilled than Caballero and could box rings around him.

However Molitor is quite a small Super-Bantamweight and Caballero is a massive one. Molitor did struggle with the size of Michael Hunter imo when he fought him, obviously the difference in levels and Hunter not being able to handle Molitor's power meant that Molitor prevailed quite easily in the end.
But Molitor won't be the puncher in this fight, Caballero is a pretty good puncher and will probably be the hardest puncher Molitor has faced. Molitor has shown he can be hurt aswell.

For a long while I thought Molitor would easily outbox a fighter as technically inferior to him as Caballero but I think the size and power will end up being too much. I think Caballero takes this on points or by late stoppage.

I hope I'm wrong, I like Molitor. He's a very very good fighter and has a lovely style to watch. Caballero on the other hand is a genetic freak who I don't really rate. Molitor definitely has a better chance at beating the likes of Vasquez or Marquez, but I just think he's not the right man to beat Caballero.

Johnny Gonzalez is also fighting this friday against Reynaldo Lopez(stopped in 5 by Ponce De Leon, but he recently chinned Mike Oliver in 3).
If not for his vulnerabilities Gonzalez would probably be the best of all the Super-Bantamweights.

Caballero dominates the whole fight and easily puts Molitor away in 4.
Thought Molitor would offer better resistance than that but oh well.

watched this from www .tsn.ca, if any of you are going to watch it be aware that you need to point your connection to a proxy server (v easy to do) if anyone needs the proxy settings PM me and I will oblige as the mods might not like me posting.

I cant believe how poor Molitor was, Caballero can only fight one way, he really has no class about him and is very poor technically (in much the same way Ponce is) but with his 5" reach advantage you might as well be boxing against somebody with 3 fists :D:D, i wonder if Molitor on a good day could beat him, he just didnt click and coulldnt get any combos off and fought the completely wrong fight given the physique of Caballero
