VOIP software on college network

I'm just after ordering one of these fancy gadgets to set up a proper skype phone.

I know I can use skype on the college network but unfortunately skype is quite an expensive VOIP service, does anyone know of any way to get other VOIP apps to work with the college proxy?

lowratevoip.com is the cheapest service out there for Irish mobiles and landlines but in its software there's nowhere you can enter the options you need to get it working in college. Does anyone know of any VOIP software that I can enter the lowratevoip SIP settings and have it work on the college network (and with my new phone hopefully).

    Thanks

    Did you try tcdproxy.tcd.ie:8080?
