Canon 450D - Best Place to Buy?

I've decided to take the plunge and buy the 450D with the standard 18-55 kit lens.

So far it looks like Dixons Tax Free is the best price though it means waiting and I'm making the fairly hefty assumption that Dixons in Ireland will honour a UK Tax Free Store Warranty:

    http://www.dixonstaxfree.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=imaging.view&section=imaging&group=13&pro_id=7000960

xe.com tells me this comes to about €563.87 including an 8Gb High speed SD card and Lowe pro 140W case

Komplett have the camera and lens kit for €569:
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=345550

So, knowing that xe.com is inaccurate versus the real exchange rate I'd get on my visa/mastercard... there's next to nothing in the difference (an SD card and a case I can't even find on-line to take a look at).

I've found Komplett's support to be worse than useless in relation to computer parts (a faulty monitor) though I've not exactly heard great things about Dixon's support either...

Would the current cash back offer apply to either of these? Can anyone recommend a better supplier?

I wanted a mid-range zoom with the camera and came across this:

    http://www.warehouseexpress.com/product/default.aspx?sku=1025953

Haven't seen my credit card's conversion rate yet but xe tells me it's
€733.87 lighter... Rounding that up slightly and factoring in the €65 cashback offer, I'm still looking at the 450D with the standard 18-55 IS and the Canon 55-250mm IS for about €670(ish). :D

Yeah warehouse Express have a good price but if you want a spin up to Newry you could try Jessops

I was looking at Jessops alright, particularly this offer:

    http://www.jessops.com/online.store/categories/Cameras%20and%20Lenses/Digital%20SLRs/products/Canon/EOS%20450D%20Twin%20Lens%20Bundle-74764/Show.html

What swung it for me was the reviews of the Canon 55-250mm IS versus those of the Tamron 70-300mm.

With pixmania offering this lens for €323 and Jessops for £240 (€285ish) and Warehouse Express themselves offering it for £195 (£235ish) I thought it was well worth the extra £175 / €210 over the Jessops price for the standard kit or the extra £75 / €90 versus the Jessops dual lens kit. Also if the 55-250 lens doesn't live up to the reviews / flickr shots, I reckon it'll be easier see a decent return for it than the Tamron on ebay/adverts etc.
