    Hi,
I recently got the fif09 ps3 bundle...so far so good!

I was wondering if any1 could recommend a top game to but for the ps3, i would possibly like a sniper game!

Also, i play a fair bit of online play with the fifa09 and would like to maybe start up a league or maybe link up with a few people who play online...

    cheers

See, I enjoy the PS3 experience vicariously as my little brother has one and I'm quite the useless at games. (I used to be good, I swear!).

But if you're 'of age' and can afford 'em I'd get:

Call of Duty 4 (single player campaign is just amazing! Online you'll pish yourself with glee)

The Orange Box (Half Life + Portal = hours and hours of awesome gameplay) Also there's Team Fortress 2 on there...eh.....yeah. I haven't seen much of that but that's primarily online. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Orange_Box)

And a worthy mention for Resistance Fall of Man.

Welcome to the PS3. Go back through a couple of pages here, and you'll find plenty of FIFA Leagues, I think there's still one on the first page.

CoD4 was the bee's knees for FPS, and stilll huge numbers play online, but a lot may switch to the new one CoD:World at War.

On CoD4 you can set yourself up as Sniper, but it won't be suitable on some maps such as Shipment, but should be fine on most others.

Most questions have been asked and answered on this forum, so do a search first for anything you need, if no joy there, ask away.

Im a wee bit old for the ps3...its a long time since i bought the first version of the ps2....but i said what the hell & invested in the ps3 anyway!

Might check out Call of duty 4, :)
I tryed to sign up for a fifa league but most of them seem to be running for a while now!

Playing online fifa is fairly addictive & very good, well worth investing in the ps3 just for fiifa09....:D

If you are on a budget then have a look for Call of Duty 3, very good that game and for not much money.
Pick up Heavenly Sword as well, very cheap and yet brilliant, as is Motorstorm.

Another game suggestion: Oblivion. Its an RPG that you'll get a load of life out of. You get to customise your character, do quests, use magic and run around with no clothes on. Its great!
