looking at going to edinburgh for the heineken cup weekend. anyone recomend a hotel that is pretty cheap and is close enough to the main bar clubs etc (say 1 km)

i was there a few weeks ago, and i'm going for the match to, not sure where i'm staying yet, but its nothing like dublin, i.e. loads of bars and clubs around one area, its more spread out, you'll find a random bar down a street then might have to walk on a good bit more before you find another one,

if you're looking at a map, stay around the old centre (royal mile, cowsgate) or just across the river around princes street
