How do you know of you got points for speeding?

I was pulled a year and a half ago for speeding, the fine never arrived and I was summoned. I explained to the judge that the fine never arrived and I paid a fine there and then. Since then I have not received any notification about points, what's the story? If you don't get notification does that mean they were not…

I got notification in the post confirming mine were applied.
