Sample Permission Letter

Hi there,
I want to gather up permissions at home to shoot the family's land and to get the old man's .22 transferred to me. Does anyone have a sample of what I should put on the letters?

my permission letters went something like this
I ............ give permission to ......... to shoot on my lands which are located at ............ Tell the guards the amount of acreage in it and also give them your name and address ,keep it simple and straight to the point .type it up yourself and just get the farmer to sign it .hope this helps

Exactly what I did and it worked for me.

Copy all below and then paste into a word doc and print out. You may have to get 3 permissions so just copy it 3 times onto the one sheet of paper.


Permission to shoot .22 caliber rifles on lands.

Acreage (approximate)_______________________________________________


I hereby give _____________________________________ permission to shoot his .22 rifles for the control of vermin
on my lands at the above address. My lands are used for the farming of cattle and sheep. These lands are away
from the public roads and the fields are divided by hedges.

Say "to hunt on land", leaves more scope if you want to use it for another licence.

My arse I'm still waiting on the license to arrive. 3 weeks now.

you still waiting on your .223 license clive ,have they given ya reason for the hold up ,i put in for mine last week haven heard anything back yet ,but the gaurd dealing with me said it should be a week .

Only three weeks. In my part of Mayo it takes longer than that for a renewal.

Try 18 months for my last rifle.
