minimise itunes

can anyone tell if you can minimise itunes the way you can with wmp so you can still skip pause etc but its minimised

Cmd+H will hide it so you can still use the controls and Cmd+M will minimize it to the right hand side of your dock

If you want to control iTunes using the keyboard while using other programs check out iMote, its pretty handy!!

Quicksilver has some iTunes controls inbuilt.

I have Pause/Play, Next Song and Previous Song mapped, handy stuff.

At the top left of the window are three action buttons, clicking the "+" one will minimise iTunes to a small minimal controller. Surprised no-one's mentioned this one !

I'll second quicksilver. Select the itunes plugin when you install it for the first time, then go to the triggers menu and you will be able to assign shortcuts to whatever actions you want.
