looking to pick up a netbook for christmas, not too picky about wether it has windows or not but id like the ability to run it, 300 is my maximum budget, inbuilt sim card would be nice if possible but not required,

whats out there right now to get me most bang for my buck in my price range?

I think theres a thread on bargain alerts that says you can get the samsung netbook for 350 delivered. Its considered one of the best.

You wont get a 1000h for your budget tbh and if you do it's a definite bargain. The Samsung NC10 as already mentioned is a great buy and not too far over your maximum although the prices are going up apparently.
