I've a brother coming back from the US at Christmas time and with the $ being good at the moment against the €, It'd be nice to have him bring me home some bits for the Wii
however..I understand that Wii games are region-coded - are all the games coded or are there some region free ones out there?
Also, on my dvds the region is indicated with a 2 on the side and the back - how do I tell with a Wii game - is it clearly marked on the cover?

I was interested in getting Wii fit for my wife - I guess there is no probs in general with the hardware - its just the software?

    Thx
    /~
    gok

ALL the Wii games are region encoded.

The easiest way to tell is to look at the back of the game case. If it mentions Nintendo US, it's a US game. If it mentions Nintendo Europe, it's european.

If the writing is in japanese... you get the picture ;)
