Right .. say I'm flying Ryanair back from somewhere but not sure what time I wanna leave.

There's 4 flights that day and each one is €5 each (inc booking fee).

Can I just book all 4 separate and pick whichever one or are alarm bells gonna start going off in Ryanair HQ?

    Thanks

    That's a class idea.

Go ahead and book them, catch whitch ever one suits you on the day, all Ryanair HQ care about is the money.

Don't check in for them all on line though, that may cause problems.

Checking in online and not showing up suits them even better. It's checking in at a desk with a bag and not showing up that causes problems.

If you're not there, having checked in online, they'll close the gate bang on time. Checking in with a bag means they'll hold a couple of minutes on because otherwise they'll have to find your bag and take it off.

They won't have any problems with that at all.

Don't think you actually really appear on their system as having been checked in online until the "security" dude scans your printout on entering the airport. Once your past that point then they have to do their best to make sure you leave airside of the airport which would mean things like holding the departure until you appear at the gate. If you never actually turn up at the airport though then they don't give a damn.

Don't they make their money from bringing x amount of passengers to various airports? Isn't this how they offer free / cheap flights though?

But if you add tax to each flight would that not be very expensive ???

Not every airport scans the boarding pass though.

Inc taxes and charges each flight came to 1p. Then with the booking fee it was only a fiver a flight. So not very expensive if you need a couple spares.

Exactly. There is no live manifest given to Ryanair from the scans performed at security by airport staff. Ryanair or any other airline don't care if your wandering around airside all day. They only care that you arrive at the gate if you have luggage checked in, if you've no luggage checked in they couldn't care less.
