expanded chorus channel line up

    i was talking to a rep from chorus today, and he was telling me that they will have the same channel lineup on mmds as they have on cable. This is obviously due to analogue being switched
    off
    He couldn't tell me when this was to happen.. Other than by end of 2009.
    Does anyone have a more accurate date for analogue switch off for mmds

    Sales Rep's would say that to try and get people to signup. I heard that for years when i was installing for them, cant see it happening anytime soon..

    agreed.. But i doubt that they have many mmds analogue subscribers left. It's bound to be switched off sooner rather than later

    The exNTL MMDS does not have the full line-up, and they have a lot more than Chorus.

    Do not belive them..

    i know that cable has capacity for an almost infinite number of channels, and that mmds is limited.
    But what i'd like to know is,

    When is analogue mmds in cork likely to an closed. And replaced with an entirely digital mmds service

    Digital is available now in cork cty and county on MMDS over 100 channels available

    Yes, Digital MMDS has been around for quite a few years now in cork. (at least 7yrs)
