New rifle setup

I eventually got the rifle down to the range on Saturday!;), it was a long and difficult day! lol
After trying a basic position and making a few adjustments I soldiered on just to get a feel of how the rifle reacted and get used to the position.
I consentrated on grouping and shot ok considering the day!

So after a little tweaking on Monday night, a couple of cards grouping and some more tweaking I shot two indoor cards in Comber!





Deffo more work to do !!, but at least its moving in the right direction!!;)

Looks grand Floydster, if I saw those cards in DURC I'd think the only problem you had was checking your zero on every target and keeping your mental focus during the match.

(And thanks for posting something to do with actual sport today of all days )

Yeah!, I was happier with the score of 99 on card 2 than of the 100 scored on card 1!!;), tons are tons but until I hit that little wobble I thought the second card shots were better positioned 10's!!

Did the second one gauge in as 99? Good, I thought the lower left target was a bit of a squeaker, but it could just be the way the round tears the paper. What were you using, Eley?

The scanned pics dont really show properly!,on the first card they were all well in!;), and I was using Lapua Master!:D

Very nice stuff Floydster, good to see the new rifle is treating you well. There may be a match down here on the 30th for you to give it a proper run out.
