A contributer for the UK Sun called into the Voice of Wrestling radio show last night claiming that a couple of WWE wrestlers he had interviewed last week, including William Regal, stated that WWE may be interested in A.J. Styles once his contract expires.

WrestleZone.com can now report with relative certainty that although WWE did approach A.J. Styles about coming over, it is most likely Styles will be staying with TNA.

I would love to see him in the WWE :D

Wouldn't like to see him in WWE, he'll just end up jobbing to Mike Knox or Snitsky (off topic but aren't those 2 basically playing the same character on the same show?!!)

Not a chance in hell, jobbers like Knox and Snitsky would only end up getting fed to Styles if he got over with the crowd.

If the WWE did sign AJ which is so unlikely it's not even worth considering he would certainly be put over. It's not a case of AJ wanting to sign and the WWE not being too pushed, WWE really want him and have for years but AJ doesn't want to sign

I can't see him leaving, for a couple of reasons. One TNA cant afford to let him go after loosing Christean. If he leaves TNA are with Jeo as there only homegrown main-eventer. Two, TNA got him where he is today and still have more to give him. TNA are either going to go to the wall are hit it big in the next two years. If it comes to the worst, Im sure uncle vinny will have contract made up for him as soon as he's finished buying the copyrights and video library from TNA.

It would be a terrible move as he would go from being a top star to a mid carder at best.

Bringing AJ to WWE may re-ignite the cruiserweight division.

Even though its obvious wwe could not care less about it.

Any one of the cruiserweights WWE has signed over the past six years could have reignited the CW division, and they didn't. The 're-ignition' of the cruiserweight division theres a moot point and has been since before the title was retired.

The CW title is beneath AJ anyway.

I still love you CBG. :o

There is no WWE cruiser weight devision to re-ignite.

    Lovin' the love :)

Did Helms post on a blog or something that he would be coming back with it?
In saying that, i havent been watching SD!, has he returned yet? I heard he was on the dirt sheet?

Hence why it would need re-igniting. lol.

Last I saw of Helms he was popping up in a little box while SD wrestlers were entering and passing comments on them, don't think he's back full time yet.

I dont know about the "Re"

think they should ignite it first. Anyway WWE wont have a proper cruiserweight division untill Vince is gone. After that i dont know if it will even happen .

Bad move for AJ if he goes to the WWE .

Personally i would love to see AJ in the WWE.Either that or Angle coming back would get me watching it again.
Only problem is as other posters have said,he would more than likely get ruined if he did join.

It was more to do with disturbing his wife's education. Anyway the AJ did an adultery storyline so his convictions must not be that strong.

I know the story but that still shows morals of some sort
