    OK, Kasperskey IS 2009 has been out for 2 or 3 months. I am currently running KIS 7.0 and keeping it updated daily, and experiencing no problems, or any successful attacks thus far. Saw an offer to upgrade with a good price discount. What would I gain by upgrading to KIS 2009? Any problems installing? Other problems? Benefits?

    There is a problem between KIS7.0 and KIS2009 in that KIS2009 firewall blows your cover revealing many of the common ports as being closed to the web, per a ShieldsUp test. So I have to learn the new programme and how to regain my total stealth status. Will probably have to consult the Kaspersky forum for help, unless someone here knows KIS2009 firewalls and can help?
