Worried about first time...

    Hi all...

I'm about three months into a relationship with a girl I've wanted since I was like 14. We hung around for a while then went different ways and met accidentally one day and got chattin and the rest is history.

My problem is that im going away with her soon and it'll probably be our 'first time'. It's not my actual first time as I was in a relationship for two years up until last christmas and it isn't her first time either as we've talked about it before.

I feel more nervous now than I did when I lost my virginity. Granted it's been nearly a year since I last had sex. Im desperately worried that I'll get stagefright or somethin.

Should I tell her how I feel or should I just leave it and hope for the best?!

If you're going away just the 2 of you I wouldn't mention it in the meantime. She is probably feeling the same way as you but you can see how it goes and talk about it while you're away! If you bring it up sooner it might make it even more nerve wracking than it already is!

Telling her means you're announcing that you expect sex. If the conversation comes up (boom, boom) then throw it out there, but otherwise say nothing. When the time comes you'll know if you can do the job. Best thing to do during the occasion itself is to just relax, take it easy and let it happen. Don't think about it or worry about it, or anything else.

Yep, say nothing until the first night.

My advice then, have a few drinks and have some fun. Some people take sex way too seriously, its all about having fun with someone your close to. Your not in a porn movie so stage fright shouldnt be an issue.

My advice would be not to worry about it, however don't (and I mean DON'T) go out and drink heavily as that's not going to help you at all and probably make you worse off than you were on your first time ;).

It's like riding a bike*, once you get into it you will be fine.

*I'm not calling your girlfriend a bike or anything like that.

Well don't get pissed, but a couple of drinks would do no harm - in fact it would put you in the mood, decrease your inhibitions and calm your nerves.
