So LED technology is sets new and higher standard about HDTV for the future or it's just an update on the present time TV's?

Seems to be a big Buzz about them at the Mo. I see Trusted reviews have said the new Philips LED LCD is as close if not a match for the Kuro. No mean feat if it is!

Probably see a lot of models next year.

Pioneer 8G 720p Plasma man my self and I have to say not one current model (1080p Bla Bla Bla) LCD lot will touch it, but this new LED technology seems to be impressive.

Sony and Samsung have LED models available. Sonys are 1st gen and Samsungs is 2nd gen tech. Philips doesnt stack up well against Sony or Samsung due to using white LED's vers RGB one s(or so a review I read says). The sony model is mega money. The Sammys are more reasonable but there are some issues reported with them such as imput lag and picture defects. I have seen a Sammy 786 LED LCD in PowerCity but they were running a ****ty SD signal though it so it was hard to see major difference but compared to the LCD's beside and aound it running the same SD signal it was more vibrant and punchy looking.
