I want to ditch NTL and get Sky+. If I order Sky+ this week, what is likely to be the timescale involved in having it installed? Also, is the PACE box the best box to get if I can? I'll post this next question on the cable forum but incase anyone has done this, if I cancel my NTL Digital TV (I want to keep the broadband), how long will it take. My last bill was the start of this month so I'm paid up till start of Jan. Will they refund me the difference or how does it work?

Hi there..to have sky+ installed it should take around 7-10 days for the engineer to come down from when you sign up and should take no longer than an hour to do.

There is a number of SKY+ manufacturers but its is mostly PACE boxes that are around...just ensure they dont give you an Amstrad Box as their rubbish...
