I had a pretty weird experience with them - i bought an underwater housing for a G9 and some spare batteries, memory cards and stuff online.

The day after i ordered they called me to check my credit card details, address, etc. details saying that the payment had been rejected.

They went over the details and said they would try again, but later that day they called again saying something about my Irish credit card not being accepted by a UK bank or something, and did i want to pay through paypal or some other way.

I was running out of time (and patience) before my holidays so told them i'd have to cancel the order, and asked them to confirm by email.

The next day i got an email off them confirming that the order was cancelled and i would be charged nothing.

The next day, the stuff i'd ordered arrived at the front door!

I called them up (after my conscience got the better of me) and told them that the stuff had been delivered and did they want to try my credit card details again. The woman said she would have a look and let me know.

I didn't hear back from her (probably cos i'd gone on my holliers by this stage), but sure enough they eventually took the money from my credit card.

But payment malarky aside - they were very fast delivering the kit, they had stuff i couldn't find anywhere else, and were very nice all the way through.

But would i recommend them? Dunno. Maybe. They seem legit, just a little bit confused maybe.

    Does that help?

they have a shop in norwich, so every time i am over seeing parents etc i go pay them a visit

they are huge, but the shop is not. generaly they have everything i want, i just ring up in the morning and its there in the shop in the afternoon

I would say they would not have the same knowledge as some of the smaller places, about every bit of kit, but they are decnt to deal with etc

I ordered off them just last week. Their system could not recognise my credit card so I had to email them a copy of my last statement and then everything was fine. The goods arrived within the 48 hours.

The only thing you may need to be wary of is the delivery charge it can go as high as 35 sterling. I ordered a load of bits and pieces of them, some of them quite heavy so I did not mind paying the 35.

I was trying to order something off them last week (Actually the Nikon AFD f/1.4 50mm, if anyone has a cheaper place to buy it, or knows how much gunns charge for it then let me know !) and I couldn't arrange for anything OTHER than 35 sterling for the postage, it was the only option available. I could have emailed them or something I suppose ...

I go to Norwich quite regularly and keep planning to go out to the shop but never get a chance.
