Hey, just saw another load of flood sale bits were put up last night. A few interestig bits if you would use them; lockable wheel skewers, and an FSA wheelset for less than 100yoyos!!

Very nice - and nearly half price, that's sweet.

I'm sending back a 105 Long Cage rear derailleur (9 Speed) unless someone on here wants it for €20. BNIB. I wanted a short cage but the item was confusingly described as "GS Short Cage". Going to the PO at lunchtime today to return it so if anyone wants it let me know before then. I'm already over the 7 days return rule.

I wish I could afford 'em!

Nope, I'd be tempted by the stem to go with the bars, but can't afford another 100 quid!

i hate them i started stripping the MTB last night (15 year old orange) and looked at several missing teeth on the middle chainring so having bought new shifters i had to go back and order a new chainset at least square taper stuff is really cheap (deore 29 euros )

What does flood mean on the FSA wheelset ?

What does flood mean on the FSA wheelset ?

The shop's warehouse got flooded a while back so a lot of stock got wet - it's all being sold off with fairly hefty discounts

They got wet in the warehouse, due to flooding, so they are selling them at a reduced price

Funny to think that they actually do get discounted. Considering they could be submerged in this country most of the time anyway! Guess the packaging is damaged and they can't really sell them as new.

30' inseam I think. Currently on a 50.5cm which i find comfy. Don't have the longest arms in the world or the strongest back either, would be a stretch. Still, it's 600 notes I don't really have...just dreaming...then having my dreams trampled by common sense/mortgage!

Hmm..I have a 30" inseam too. Bit of a gamble maybe, I have a 54cm felt and I find it nice and compact but I have a small Ridley, which I think is less than 54cm (different geometry I know).

Shame you cant try out a fully built one, might be worth a punt tho! :D

For what its worth Dirk, if its a standard Geometry it will be similar to my spare Trek which fits me fine and I think you were a similarish size to me. Of course if it's sloping it might be a bit big....

I'm not sure a "little too large" bike is necessarily bad for the back - you'll have a greater reach (which can be fixed with a short stem) but less drop (which is difficult to vary) so it might end up more comfortable.

I have a 34" inseam and ride a 54". The drop is quite significant. If I was choosing again I'd go a size up.

    Hi Lads,

How often is the Flood stock updated on the site? Daily?
Why couldn't the flood wait until Jan? :)

    Sorry lads, me again.

Is this BeOne Nirvana 3.0 a good deal?....€593.00

So there I was just browsing along, nursing last nights hangover and then just like that, the credit card got a wee thump out of no where. Like a hit & run!

One moment of weakness around the flood sale-ness and an FSA carbon flat bar for 39 yoyos is in the post. I didn't even really need it for the MTB. That cyclist weakness for new shiny things is savage...
