Feeling Down

I usually don't like doing this, but I feel if I don't express myself I might go a little bit cracked in the head.

Lately -- I haven't been feeling right. For a few weeks or so. Maybe longer. I don't know. It's all rolled into one ball - weeks just roll by and I wouldn't even realise.

Haven't been able to sleep properly at all. When I do, I'm usually plagued by nightmares that I have to force myself awake from. Waking up tired. As if I didn't sleep whatsoever, means that mornings feel like nights. Sometimes I have spaces where I forget what I was doing and I stand confused, trying to remember. Or I might lose something; a phone, a chain, anything, and it drives me cracked as I search frantically for it. I tear apart wherever I am and I feel like punching something because I hate losing things so much.

There are times when I would love to .. I don't know, end it. I was trimming my beard earlier with a scissors and I realised how easy it would be to just .. to just .. finish it. One quick stab to the throat. But then I remember how scared I am of death and put the scissors down.

The main problem is that I know I should get help but I don't want to. I know they'll just give me some sort of tablets and hope that'll cure it all. But I don't want that. I'm against pills. Everything. Anti-biotics, pain killers, anything along those lines. I just don't want to. Plus I know I'm just going through a bad patch and it will be all over soon

    -- hopefully.

Go talk to your dr, they can't make you take tablet they can talk to you about them and write you a prescription but you have to fill it, you have to talk about where this is comning from or start to find where it is coming from. So get a referal to who ever your dr will think is best for you.

The meds can help you if you are struggling or if you start to struggle with talking about what is going on with you, but you may not need them, but you do need help, so please for your own sake go to your dr.

Killing yourself is never the answer. I've been through all that. Seems you need a friend and this moment, talk to them. As I offered in another topic, come to me, if you think it would help. I've been at the depressed and suicide stage and got through it.

Maybe posting online has made you feel a little better? If I'm right, you should take it as a sign that you need to talk to someone. If you feel like you have no one you can confide in, maybe you should speak to your GP at least- they will be your best friend. It takes literally 1 second to say the worsd, 'I'm depressed' and after the bombshell, he will start helping you. My Dad would say don't be buyer and seller ie don't jump to conclusions, you don't know what he'll say.
