The Twelfth Lock, Castleknock

    I was down in Castleknock in a Hotel called the Twelfth Lock for lunch, I had been there before and the are a couple of lock gates which look pretty nice. Heres a couple of shots showing different aspects, I used a couple of different focal lengths there 85L 135L 15mm fisheye. C&C as always welcome

    Thats not even on the 5d, I used it on the 1dmk3. On the 5d its epic and so sharp too.

    so come on where is this place, so many good pics.... Is it at B;anchardstown village, building looks similar tpo what I thought was an apartment block.

    It is in Blanchardstown off the old Navan Road and opposite where Crest Foods used be (now redeveloped as flats).

    I thought so, I was always convinced they were apartments, or have they just been bought out recently? I grew up 5 mns from there, it's amazing how they now call it Castleknock when back then it was Blanchardstown. I know I sound like a snob and completely off topic but it really is profiteering by changing the address.

    Great pics though and I will go down there!
