Ok so obviously they are the same but different. Anyone know whats the difference between them? I presume the one on the right is a cheap reprint?

I have a few comics like this and have no idea what the story is with them?

I'm guessing one is a reprint, given that one has a publication month of August and the other April. Best bet is to read through the small print usually on the first page of story (or wherever the title page is), and see what the original publication issue number for the material is.

That said, I'm curious that one features spider-man in the venom costume and the other features spider-man in his normal uniform...

One on the right says 30p so im guessing its a titan or panini reprint for UK readers.

    Close but not quite.

The one of the left is an original marvel edition. The one on the right is a Marvel Uk reprint. I got a few of them when I was a kid. They were magazine sized and had the main secrets wars story plus a tie-in from another comic like New Mutants or Spider-Man. They were also made from shiny glossy paper which was terrible for storage and ripped very easily.

Yeah that sounds right, this one has the final part of the Origins of Sasquatch in it.

The one on the right is a slightly better cover

But if this is a marvel UK reprint wouldnt the one on the right be bigger?

It probably is bigger, I grabbed the left pic from a google search. The right one is magazine size. A4ish.
