Online advertising

I need some advice and ideas for advertising a new online store i have just test - launched.
The website is a home bar and drinks entertainment store where people can buy a range of things from home bars to pool tables, glassware and even kegs.

Our target audience is vast, with past customers both male and female, coming from all over the country and from varying social standings.

As its a rather unique business with not a lot of competition, i wont need to spend a whole lot with the likes of adword campaigns through google (in fact we are already in the top 10 searches)

I need some suggestions for online advertising without spending ridiculous amounts of cash! We have so far already exploited all the usual free directory avenues.

    Website in question is Thebarcompany.ie

    Any advice greatly appreciated..

I like the site! You could work on the SEO aspect of the site.
Heres a very useful guide from Google.

    Nice idea!

I see from a search of ‘Home Bars’ it’s a competitive in terms of PPC advertising from other companies. You may want to consider being ranked in ‘Home Bar’ as Google suggest that the search volume is 8 times as much for the ‘bar’ as opposed to ‘bars’!

Basically you should try and get above the fold (5 or 6) so that people don’t have to scroll down to find you. Some SEO modifications would give you better presence. (sitemaps etc should be looked at)

    Regards

Hi Dabko, congratulations on the business, it looks like a great idea. Maybe over Christmas people will "order in"?!

Anyway, a little more on SEO for you with a thread I created called

    SEO and the long tail

I hope it is useful for you :)
