guys, my dad wants to get the above in his driveway from a certain company.

anybody got any tips on questions to ask them?
ie how deep they need to dig etc etc

or has anybody got this done and can give a good desription of the build up material?

If thats the case they are still out roaming the range and arent back at the hitching post to accept calls on landlines or to receive faxes or snail mail. Should be avoided I would think.

they have mobiles and landlines on their website along with personal pictures and names.

sorry for showing the company name but there is so many of them out there, he just wants to make sure its a reputible (sp) company with a guarantee. but i would agree that the lack of a business address is a little suspect.

no, mind is not made up at all, i posted that website just to give examples of what he wants done, i dont know why everybodies hung up on the landline issue when clearly there is one on the home page! (outlined)

i've blanked out the company name just incase!



im still only looking for advice on what to ask these guys with regards to construction build up and how deep they should be digging etc etc

he has had 3 companies out to quote now, so not stuck on only one crowd.

Only questions I can think of is how thick will concrete be?
How thick will the hardcore be?
What can they do to ensure colour consistancy? (Dye is thrown on by hand, so good colour is a skill!)
What sort of guarentee do they offer?
Have they got phone numbers / address of happy customers?

Time to hide my head in shame... oh the embarassment!

i will take them questions home with me!
they have given my dad an address of a house in glasnevin that they done recently, but i suppose its one that they done 2 years ago that you want to see.

a house around the corner got it done by them too, and no problems so far.
