    Hey,

I'm trying to find contact details for this old Bob Marley tribute act. I don't believe they are still together at all but that's the point.
I have tried 3 different venues around the country but they haven't got thier details on file. They haven't played in a good while afaik. All I remember is that the singer was called chico (I think) and was from Dublin. If anyone has any contact details of this missing band I would greatly appreciate it! Or even if anyone has seen them play could they tell me where they saw them and I could call the venue,

    Thanks everyone,
    Mick

bad form the venue's have no details... usually they have someone in charge of organising gigs...

seen a bob marley tribute band a few years ago, young enough lads - were playing in NCAD - (i wasn't a student there- just invited) and have to say the "singer" was a complete pleb. Rarely do you meet someone that up their own bum. So, hopefully its not them your lookin for.:

Hopefully you find what your after.

Cheeko was the lead singer and they also went by the name King Sativa. Did fairly well IIRC.

A google search leads you here http://www.myspace.com/kingsativa

Maybe its a few years too late, but here's all the info you need,

Derek Clabby is now playing with "the Bionic Rats ", a great reggae band and you can catch him in the Foggy Dew pub, just off Dame street every sunday from 7-9,or the Turk's head Parliment street every thurs @11pm, he's got a myspace page for the bionic rats. Anto Kenny - The drummer still plays with Derek.

Liam "Cheeko" Nolan who fronted Catchafire, is Fronting a Johnny Cash tribute band called "The Folsom Five",you can message him on their facebook/myspace

Hope this is useful to somebody , though a bit late : P

Could be wrong but did the guitarist not pass away a few years back at a very young age?
