just a quick question about the following player

    i bought this player/ recorder last year( SONY RDR-HX750) and also have a vierra t.v. i know HD is gone but can i use blue ray disks on this system or would i have to get a player that specifically plays blueray?

    Unless it say it plays blu-ray it wont play blu-ray

    yeah like kearnsr said, you need a bluray player. thats only a DVD player (recorder) with upscaling
