Five going FTA on the Tuesday 18/11/2008

    I believe Channel Five UK is going on Freesat - FTA tomorrow officially

    I think this is a shot in the arm for freesat :)

    I haven't rescanned but I believe it is on ?

    Sat: Astra 2D
    Freq: 10.773 GHz
    Polarization: H
    SR 22000

    can anyone confirm or deny this?
    Do they have a time lapse +1 hour or derivative channels?
    Will it have EPG?

    Five is already free to air without EPG. If you are on Freesat, the receiver will pick this up automatically. There is no need to rescan

    coming in loud and clear on my SKY+ box.

    mind you, I think they just renamed it from 6635, lol.

    there's still no epg listings though, as in now/next. :(

    I don't have sky+ I have 2 "Freesat" boxes - so will rescan or add it manually

    There is no Five+1. Five's other channels, Fiver, Fiver+1, FiveUS, Five US +1, will not be on Freesat for now.
