took some pics while down in curaybinny woods today.
The view of ringaskiddy is really nice from the trail paths.

Hey Jen,
I hope your don't take any of this to heart, it's just some c&c.

Firstly I think the photos look a little flat. If you pop these into photoshop you could bring out a good bit more of the colours/brights and darks.

The first shot is nice, it leads the eye down the path into the photo. I like the tree in the top left but I think theirs too much at the top of the photo. It takes from the shot.

Your second shot has a nice high vantage point but theirs nothing there that jumps out at me.

The third shot seems a bit too dark and the boat seems a bit too central.
Again this is all just in my opinion!!

I hope you don't mind but I've played with the shots. Let me know if you want me to remove these links

Lovely place to go for a walk. I was there not too long ago and got a few nice pics myself.

Cant really add much to what kyle said already in terms of C+C. Thats exactly what i would have said. Maybe you could work on your composition a bit more, getting a focal point to the pics. In the second shot as well, im not sure about taking the picture with those trees intruding on the view. I think its different if u leave some leaves in the shot to Frame the picture, but just having the few leaves down the bottom distracts from the view, which is the focal point.

lol. I only got a copy of photoshop last night and I tried brightening them. I obviously need to play around a bit more with it.

Do you shoot in RAW Jen? If you have the choice always turn it on when taking landscapes and 95% of photos actually.
