Only four options up for grabs this week folks.

Rules:

1. This is a public poll, so others can see who you voted for, each contestant MUST either include a suggestion for next weeks poll, or second another sugestion from another user.(NOTE: this seconding will not count as a vote in next weeks poll.
2. Only one nomination per user, per week shall be accepted. Nominations must be made in this thread, and once an album has been nominated, it may not be nominated for another poll for the subsequesnt three months
3. Dont forget to Vote;)

Its nice to see a really tight poll this week, but we have reached a dilemma.

Last week because we got so few suggestions, i made it compulsory to make a suggestion along with the vote, therefore technically the votes of:
dots104, JaeKae, pinksoir, Creature, PWEI, Rod Velvet, Anarcho-Munk, Paul Brewer, tony2tone dont actually count. But at the same time, i dont wanna get all anal about the rules, as this is just a kind of nice community effort thing, so what should i do?

Also, im thinking of limiting the poll to 5 aqlbums a week, so we currently have enough for two weeks. Thoughts? Suggestions?

lol im not pushed about the rules at all, i just wanna make sure the album of the week doesnt die like it did last time... so i want to make sure we have enought suggestions for a poll each week...

what think you about 5 options in a poll each week? too high? too low?

What a Punk. He's rebelling against the album of the week rulez. Sure showed us.

As Inserektor said there were virtually no votes last week so I suggested that only votes with a nomination would be counted to increase nominations. I'm sure most of the guys who didn't nominate just didn't realise this, apart from you.

As for limiting to 5 a week, if it helps, I'll change my vote and second the National. Thought it had been album of the week already

Could just use the thanks system. You agree with someone's nomination then thank the post. The 5 most thanked go up for the vote.

lol nice spelling:P, nah what i assume we could do is just take the first five suggestions, and put the rest into a poll the week after or something... having too many suggestions is ok, we can work around it, its when we dont have enough it becoes a problem

I don't know what you mean.

There are albums picked in this thread. A good few. All cannot be put up for vote. Only 5 can. So if people thanked those who nominated an album they agreed with then you could take the most thanked nominations for the next week. Boom, there's your 5 albums that you said you wanted for your poll. One I would presume then gets chosen for album of the week.

If that's wrong then I'm confused by what way you want it to run.

Ah yes i see what you mean now... i reckon however it would be eaasier just to take 4 each week and steadily work through the nominations for the polls, especially considering the low traffic, and the high volume of nominations, it could very easily work out at each one getting one thanks each

Also, this has been bothering me for a while, your custom user title(thing unfer your username), is that a slipknot quote?

If there's one thing i've learned from your post, it's that humour is so out of vogue on boards.

I agree with Xavi6's idea except with 4 albums being "thanked" into the next pole.
