[November 16] VCRAI CHRISTMAS Shoot Mid-Lands

    Vintage Classic Rifle Association of Ireland will be holding a
    Christmas turkey shoot Sunday November 16th.

    This is an open shoot all are welcome.

    Mid-Lands Range, Book in at 10 am on Sunday the 16th.

    Just a reminder that the VCRAI are holding a Classic Rifle Shoot at the Mid-lands Range Sunday 16th November. Details on the Target Shooting Forum, this Weekend Events.

    A very Special thanks to Mary and Jim Griffin, Johnpaul Craven, Tony
    Sanders and all the Staff and Members of the Mid-Lands Rifle Range
    for hosting the Vintage Classic Rifle Association of Ireland Christmas
    shooting competition and for supplying the good food.

    Also thanks to Bernard Ward and his Members from DURC, The Mid-Lands
    Rifle Range club Members, DTSC Members, Vintage Classic Rifle
    Association Members for their involvement in the competition.


    Rifles used : Lee Enfield Rifles, Swedish Mauser Rifles, Carl Gustaf
    Rifles.


    Winners as follows:


    Frankie Lane (VCRAI) First Place Score 50


    Tony Sander (Mid-Lands) Second Place Score 49 / 7 V
    Bulls


    Joe Mooney (VCRAI) Third Place Score 49 / 1 V Bull


    Shooting was bench rest and fired out to 100 yds.


    All enjoyed and had a great Day,

    Another good day out Mick, hopefully see you at another vintage shoot soon enough. :) The lads from DURC seemed to have a good time as well, so hopefully we'll be back with more shooters next time.

    Maybe if my guts stay on the inside the next time I'll make it. Quite miffed I didn't today.
