    Hi there,

Just wondering how you would deal with a bully in the office? She is so annoying, she only does the minimum and asks you to do certain things that you wouldnt dream of asking her, but you cant say no if you know what I mean, she is very calculating in her approach. I am a very helpful person and she knows that and takes advantage..........I would just like to know how to put her in her place without being obvious.........

Is she your supervisor or on your team or something?
Next time she asks you to do something you don't want to just politley but firmly say "I'm sorry I can't help you, I'm really busy myself."
She needs no further explanation than that.

Maybe too helpful? As in act like a doormat, don't be suprised to be treated like one?
Maybe that's not you but more info needed, is she your supervisor?
If so the ol' union demarcation comes in: "I can do it but you need to pay me supervisor wages to do it"

Like the Grange Hill gang said, just say no. It's that simple. This girl is the way she is because nobody forces her to be different.
