    PogMoThoin, I understand that it is not the original DirectX 10.

    Just wondering if anyone knew about it and how safe it was to use

    Thats not what I meant, I highlighted Alpha for a reason, that should tell you how safe it is, Read the link to "Software release life cycle", Alpha's have not been tested, so Yes, I'd say it would completely fcuk up your pc

    well ... it fcuked my PC so bad ... I considered upgrading to Vista :(

    There isnt much to be said for DX10 anyway. It was advertised as a major graphics update and turned out to be nothing more than a difference of a few frames in most cases.
