Nice one. I've played this tournament a couple of times before and it got around 60-80 runners IIRC. Real fun tournament to play.

I've said it before but I'll repeat anyway: hats off to the Fitz for organising great tournaments with rock bottom reg fees and great food.

Great turnout, any news on who made the final table et.c,

I bubbled in 11th when open shoving the button and both blinds woke up with monsters, doke was still there but quite short. We both learnt a lot though ;)

20 minute blinds made it very crapshooty towards the end but I agree - great turnout and fair play to the Fitz for looking after their customers with the two added tix.

What's the chances of this happening..........
The same serial raiser that got smurph, also got me, and I also had 10h 8h.
He had been at it all night.....raising in early spots and folding to big all-in moves,he also had to turn over K 4 when a short-stack went all-in, so I knew his raising range was pretty big.
So when he raises my big blind for the 8th or 9th time I decided that a line had to be drawn in the sand, only oops..he snap calls and flips over A A.
I nearly got there though when the flop came J 8 5, turn 10, but a 5 on the river counter-fitted me and gave him a 100k pot.

Great tournament though, and a very good turn-out for a Wednesday night.
Well done to the Fitz for putting on another good night.

    Martin.
