As what for other people? or for yourself. I'm going to buy a mates ol' Dreamcast off him when i go home for xmas.

But as for other people not really, just the usual stuff.

And remember Retro's for life not just for xmas.

Good luck 01s1n, hope it goes in your favour, any specific choice on what game to pick?

I'd be very happy on Christmas morning if I opened some gift wrapping to reveal a copy of Demon Front.

Convincing her to spend 150 on one videogame though...not gonna happen!

I'm hoping my Pandora will somehow get here before xmas.

They're having delays in getting the LCD screens.

Dropped some major hints for a working Nes, not sure if the message got through, although given my bro is a member of these boards, the point is probably well made now!

I'd ;ove some more MVS carts, maybe Metal Slug or Neo Drift Out

I also need a load of wireless controllers to somehow make sense of the insanity of cables that now masquerades as my gamesroom, tons and tons of cables, and intertwined ones at that, no fun to spend 10 minutes trying to untangle Buzz controllers from Megadrive and 3DO cable as well.

There was an update today on the project forum indicating shipments may not happen until Jan or Feb :(

Not finished, or ready to ship in any appreciable numbers. There are 20 beagleboard units apparently completed, and these are in the hands of the hardcore dev team ... who presumably will be working on the launch software.

Some percentage of the pre-orders paid for by credit card have been refunded (including mine) and people are being asked to re-order. This is caused by a change of banks - but has not been fully explained yet.

On top of that, there is apparently a delay in sourcing the LCD screens which is outside the control of the project team.

The hardware spec has been revised upwards in recent days - double the RAM and double the NAND storage - which should make things like Open Office and more demanding 3D games easier to implement. This is a good thing.

There has been lots of speculation ... and few solid answers as yet. One of the more established members of the community has been appointed spokesman, and we are starting to see more solid updates in recent days ... but no Pandoras just yet.

I have no doubts the Pandora will be made, and will be worth the wait ...

I think this is what they mean by 'bleeding-edge'
