Bit of a weird question but is Casillas wearing the outfield jersey in goal ? looks like the madrid home shirt.

Weren't Madrid fans complaining they were light up front before Robinho left? Lucky for them Higuain has finally found his Football Manager form

Ya, Casillas regularly wears the outfield home and away jersey in goal when the outfield players are wearing the opposite strip. He did it nearly every game 2 seasons ago.

Well, they had Nistelrooy, Saldado, Raul, Robinho, Saviola and Higuain. They lost Saldado in a similar scenario to Man Utd losing Rossi. Raul was cack for a few seasons up until last year, but did a Del Piero last year.

Schuster himself said that they left themselves a little short upfront when they lost Saldado and Robinho, but with they couldn't get the signature of David Villa or Huntelaar in the summer so they were waiting until the winter/ next summer. Instead of a panic buy they made a conscious decision to rely on Raul, Higuain and Nistelrooy. They made the right decision, but now that Nistelrooy is out until next season after needing surgery in America we will probably see them panic and offer ridiculous amounts of money for Huntelaar/ Tevez.

They have been fortunate with the timing of RVN injury because they only have about 4-5 league games before their winter break and will be able to purchase in January so things could have been worse but lets remember lads are they going to pay huge amounts for a guy who is cup tied for the champions league like Tevez, Benzema or Huntelaar because if not then they are going to be severly limited.

Great weekend for Barca so far with two of their rivals now dropping points. I reckon if Barca win tomorrow and keep the five points advantage over Real until El Clasico and then whip Real we will be talking league over for Real.

Let's not get carried away just yet. It's all well and good saying Barca's rivals dropped points, but it'll count for nothing if we don't do the business against Recre tonight. 1-3, 0-4, 2-2 are our last three results at the Nuevo Colombino. It would be great to potentially go 5 points ahead of Madrid, especially considering the month of death is coming up.

At the expense of getting caught with egg on my face come the end of the season, looking at Madrid. Ah the cycle of life in la liga. Injuries, internal problems, clueless coach, etc... Sounds familiar doesn't it. I truely feel their pain.

Malaga 90th minute ! It just keeps getting better for Barca.

RVN out for the season, Real lose, Heinze now suspended, Valencia lose, Villareal draw and Barca win. All in all not a bad few days for Barca.

Yeah, they were well on top there.
