I'm not allowed buy crisps because of the inevitable madness of 12 empty bags that follows :(

I voted take away though because we've all left pubs and eaten take away at some point and thought it was the greatest thing on earth :D

Mine's fizzy drinks, I'm totally addicted to diet coke, I'd actually get withdrawal symptoms (headache and moody etc) if I go for a day without any!!

    I'm amused at the options

    Drugs = food group

Somebody should let Amy Winehouse know.... could do with putting on a few lbs.

Drugs are a food group? Or does that option mean food-groups consumed as a result of drugs?

AAARGH! My whole diet is in that poll! Even drugs (strictly prescription though, so I guess they don't really count)

I guess I could live without take aways, crisps, sweets and ice cream. I'd tearfully say goodbye to biscuits, cakes and donuts.
I'd sob hysterically at the thought of losing choclate.

But if I was told no more fizzy drinks, no more Coke or 7UP or Fanta ever again, suicide would be my only option.
A world without Coca-Cola is a world I don't want to live in.

Would like to still be able to eat chocolate or ice-cream though.

wow. I was raised on coca cola and I'm probably addicted to it but to this day I'd rather drink a glass of cold, stale tea than diet coke. <shudders>

I didn't vote because pig and alcohol weren't options. I couldn't live without Guinness or beer and any meat that comes from a pig (except black pudding). Pig should be a food group.

It's like chick-lit, only with delicious cocoa-based products instead of irritating blonde women.

EDIT: Ah, urban dictionary. But of course! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=choclit

Fizzy drinks - if I was on death row for slapping Daniel O'Donnell to death with a smelly fish, I'd still ask for Club Orange with my last meal!

I was also wondering why drugs were included but something you actually drink wasn't (unless OP was counting alcohol as drugs).

Death Row? Not at all, you'd probably get some kind of special award for doing that.

    fizzy drinks...
But coke has a lot of sugar in it which is still good energy when you're like playing a sport or something so its not that unhealthy...

Fried/takeaway food is just sooo sooo broad. Fried steak? Fried pork chops? A "Fry up"? Hell no... I wanna get fat and jolly as I grow old. :)

Then there's burger king and the sexy quater pounder with chese after a few pints? No way, wouldn't do it... Don't care. :P

A fair % of the average irish persons calorie intake is from drugs.

    Since when are peanuts unhealthy?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 491 ✭✭deleriumtremens

Lets just say that the fried/ take-away food group consists of foods you might eat instead of a decent dinner (one that you would eat and not feel like an unhealthy bastard after having eaten)!!!

Obvious examples include pizza, chips, burgers, kebabs, wedges, fried chicken, sausages and so on!!

And as for the "drugs" group...if it makes the raging alcoholics amongst us happy, let alcoholic drinks be included in that group!!!

Im suprised nobody has voted for the ice cream group yet, i have friend who I know would pick that!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭pseudonym1

Is the inclusion of "drugs" a dig against the terminally ill?

    You're sick, man.
