Laptop for around €600

Hey folks,

I need to get a laptop for college but would like to do some low-mid level gaming on it too.

I'm hoping that my budget would allow me to get laptop with an Nvdia 8400 or thereabouts. Anyone able to give me a nudge in the right direction?

Off the top of my head I'd suggest you try the Dell business Vostro range. You can get a Vostro 1310 (Nice and small for carrying to collage) for 449 ex vat etc if you add an 128MB 8400M GS.

Hmm, those specs are fairly low. Celeron processor and 1gig. Still comes to 530 when you add in VAT and shipping

Looks pretty good but the specs say in one place it's intel x3100 for graphics. Other places say 3470.

What would be the nearest Nvidia equivalent of the 3470?

OP you should look at the laptops on dabs.ie you should get a nice one for that money
