Help with finding a story..

I was at a mass this morning for deceased members of my unit, I'm in the Defence Forces.

During the mass a story was read which went along the lines of (sorry I missed the start of the story - day dreaming :o ) a pair of foot steps in the sand, which at times (hard times in the guys life) there's only one pair.

At the end of the story the guy asks god "you said you'd always be with me, but sometimes I only seen one pair of foot prints in my dream, where were you?".. To which god answers "Those were the times I carried you".

This got a reaction from most of the lads, including me of course. I mean't to ask afterwards be totally forgot.

Does anyone know where its from, and where can I find it please?.

I remember my aunt having that story framed on her wall. So you might be able to find it in portrait form if you look around religious shops or large gift shops.

    Anyway, the story is here:
