    Hi all,

I’m a Masters student who is currently researching a project on GPS watches for runners. I’m a runner myself, did the Dublin marathon last month (my first) and have owned a Garmin 305 for about a year.

The project is about new product development and basically we would like to have a chat with runners who use a GPS watch regularly to learn about your experiences, what you like about your watch, what you dislike etc. We will then collate all the feedback to see if we can come up with any ideas for improvements, new features etc.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about running and about the benefit they get out of their GPS watch. We are hoping to do in-depth interviews of about an hour to learn about your experience running, what it means to you etc and to find out where the watch fits in.

If anyone is interested in helping us by participating please email me at mbaprojectdublin@gmail.com, we would love to hear from you. If you are in the Dublin area we can arrange a face-to-face interview to suit you, if not we can simply do a Skype / phone call at your convenience.

This is a genuine request, I am doing this course in UCD:

    http://www.smurfitschool.ie/mbaprogrammes/executivemba/

and none of the five people in the group are connected in anyway to Garmin or any other companies that produce / sell these products.

If anybody would like more information please feel free to drop us a mail.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this!

    Kind regards.

In response to your posts and subsequent PM, I would prefer to donate an hour of my time to a needy charity, rather than donate it to a team pursuing a €30K business masters degree. No offense intended, I just see it as a worthier cause.
Proposed solution: You make a 20 euro charitable donation to Cancer Research in my name, and I'll gladly volunteer my time to your research project. I'll feel good, you get what you need, charity will benefit.
