Hi all Is there a magazine for handguns? Guns'n'ammo is mostly rifles. And can one buy a n imitation handgun. How realistic are imitations? I am interested in the working mechanism and how the guns work and fire and want a realistic model. What kind of hand guns do the garda carry?

If you want a very realistic model then you're probably best served by looking for a real handgun which has been deactivated. The Militaria forum might be a help although some people here might know too.

The minister said in 2003 that it's a mix of S&W Model 10 (.38), S&W Model 36 (.38) and Sig P226 (9mm).

For the current state of affairs, you're probably better off asking in the Emergency Services forum though, they should have more up to date information.
